Sony contact for PS3 Dev Kit

Does anyone have a contact with Sony to apply to get a PS3 developer kit? This sounds silly but I've contacted Sony Entertainment and they asked me to mail (snail) a request and would not provide any info.

Any help or pointers would be great.
