About
Bubbles the Fish is one of those games that neither had a purpose or a goal, aside from the fact that I only wanted to spend a week to develop this. The objective of the game is to booze up Bubbles. Collect the falling bottles of beer and rum, but avoid the other dangerous obstacles. As you progress, you'll meet up with a disgruntled captain, so be ready for a pounding. I'm also going to work on a Linux port tonight, so I'll post a link for that later.
There's an easter egg in the game if you can find it ;)
Development
I thought I would also share my development experiences. Give some ideas to others on what tools and resources I used to help complete this project in a timely manner.
I used the following tools:
a) My own game engine.
b) Visual Studio 7.1.
c) Blender for most 2D art.
d) Inkscape to produce some vector art.
e) Adobe Audition 1.5 for editing and recording sounds and music.
f) Cheap Yamaha PSR Keyboard for producing music ;)
