I turn polar bears white
And I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
And girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
And normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
And make your champane bubble.
If you sqeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop

We are all blanking on this. Five people on my end, plus a s3d server.

According to the interweb (www.google.com), you're missing a piece of the riddle which many people seem to think is where the trick is. The last line seems to be "can you guess?"

It doesnt ask "what am i?" or "can you guess the correct answer?" and the general concensus is that the answer to the riddle is either yes or no. Other popular answers are air, pressure, light, heat, water .... and llamas

I personally think it's air...

I think it is Sheogorath. But thats just me, the crew and I are leaning toward time and gravity, we are going to ask some five year olds while we are at it also.

Hmm.. How about something very general? Like the laws of nature, the Universe, the Well World, God etc.

Just occured to me that coming up with unsolvable riddles is a great way to bother people. Gotta remember that :-)

Another riddle:

You're traveling to a city when you come across a junction. You do not know whether you should go left or right. Next to the junction is a house. Two brothers live there. One always tells the truth, while the other always lies. You ring the door bell and one of the brothers opens the door (you do not know which one). You are allowed to ask only one question, what question should that be to get on your way?

That's an ambiguous riddle. There's no straight answer with it. Where did you get it from? The back of a cereal box?

.oisyn:
Answer to riddle: Which route will the other person tell me to take? Both will answer the wrong route.

My real life answer: Lie to me and I'll kick yer @$$, and then I'll help myself to your 6-pack in the fridge.

Sloans riddle is derived from the children's poem below:

TIME

The time has come,
winter is here
and those yellow bears disappear.

The time has past
as man looks back with a sigh
and a tear in his eye.

As time is held
boys cross their legs
but of course the toilet begs

As time marches on
Girls loose their blush
and swap a comb for their brush

As time passes
For those held high
their end is nigh

As time catches up
Everyone is equal
when we get to the final sequel

As time turns
Without it we have flour and water
With it we have breakfast for my daughter

As time revolves
How does one turn water and wine
into something so fine

As time runs out
The more in a minute you try and squeeze
the less you can do with ease.

As time ticks
All the time that has past
man cannot comprehend something so vast.

The riddle was sent to me from some one I know, and that person left out the last line.

The "correct" answer is no, for the last line is "can you guess" but the answer that I chose is beer.

Figure that one out, and you will not stop laughing.
