Unreal edit wont work

I have the demo edition of the unreal engine 2 and I followed the tutorial to make a terrain. When I followed the tutorial the terrain did not show up. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

You would probably have much better luck looking someplace that is focused on UnrealEd.
