9.0 on gametrailers and so far an 86 on Metacritic.
Great job man, you sure tightened up those graphics! :D
(Hey, I figured somebody should give a pat on the back :P )
... god that "tighten up the graphics" commercial sill haunts me...

You're being sarcastic, right? I hope you are. Because making a good game is not about good programming. Now I wouldn't say that Reedbeta is in any way incompetent , but you can't judge good quality programming just by the looks of a game.

Ive only finished one demo, my next is gonna be blurring light on hi poly models.
you know it only takes 20.5 seconds to get 500,000 unique vertices off of a zbrush export obj file.

The game shows fast action, various effects, quality animations, and a lot of other 'visual' features that would not be possible even for the best artist if the engine could not deliver.
So I was not being sarcastic, I really think that it shows quality programming. =)

I read a review of that game in the morning news paper today. The guy praised it like it was his second child, so I guess it's good ;)

Reed, which bits did you work on Infamous?

Mostly I worked on graphics, particularly: volumetric lighting, fog, haze, water, and various particle effects. I also contributed to the design of one of the powers - a lightning "spray" that automatically seeks multiple targets in front of you.

Cool, the game looks nice. I also worked on special effects in my first game job (:

Well, if you think quality programming is all about performance and nothing else, then our definitions of what actually is quality programming differ. A lot. :)
