What games do you play yourself?

Do you play any games at all? I prefer some intellectual games which make me think hard or about it? What about you?

I'm mostly doing Flash games right now, puzzle and arcade. I've always preferred puzzle games. I play Free Cell more than any other game. Some people might not consider it a puzzle game but because every game is theoretically winnable, I consider it to be one. The big world games don't really do it for me anymore, but I'm thinking about doing another single player rpg. I wait till they are outdated so they are cheaper. I hardly ever finish one, too much micro management and repetitive game play. I play adventure games but there aren't many made any more.

I am currently playing AI War, Red Faction Guerrilla, still getting into Fallout 3 (the last expansion is pretty good) and, every once in a while, I pop over to Facebook and play Bejeweled Blitz to help my "team". Oh, and Monkey Island's latest.

I never finish them. Just sampling various games. Some call it ADD, I call it research... :)

I'm seriously addicted to play Heroes 3 with my friends.

Anyway as for research to see who has what (and then comes writing lots of stuff into my engine) I play mostly just game demos (I don't have enough time to play so much games along with programming and research into realtime ray tracing).
As for games I bought, played and finished in recent time (last 6 months) - Fallout 3 (it is a good game, though it is not good ol' Fallout ... but imho decent follower of saga), The Witcher (one word epic, two words damn epic!) and Crysis (I really like sci-fi, though they could do better designer work along with more optimisations).

My favorite genre change with seasons, nowadays I am in love with survival horrors and adventure games. My all time love is RPG. I absolutely dont like strategy nowadays.

I've been playing Guitar Hero World Tour, and just started Far Cry 2. Also been playing some classic Worms with my buddy. :) Really looking forward to trying out both Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend, but may have to wait awhile for those.

BTW, the title is funny if you read it right. There are many games where you end up playing with yourself, but I tend to avoid those kinds... :blush:

I avoid to play games because i have the compulsive, overwhelming feeling to reproduce them.
