good graphics for such a small game [Archive]

I came across this (http://www.theprodukkt.com/index.html) website, they are trying to develop a game. I have downloaded (http://kk.kema.at/files/kkrieger-beta.zip) the game and was impressed how they managed to compress such a game with decent graphics and sound for a game that has a size of 96 kilobytes. here are some screen-shots taken from their (http://www.theprodukkt.com/index.html) website.
