I just survived a bout of tornadoes, luckily none hit my residence area. I am still awaiting damage reports from other areas though. The storm is currently going on, but the tornado threats have apparently passed for my city.

They are dangerous, but they are amazing to see in first person.

uhm, germany just had a tornado-warning two weeks ago, or so.. south-germany, that was..
and yes, seeing just the step before a tornado is amazing yet.. but happy to never see one really..

you could hardly call that a tornado... besides i live in the north so i don't care :)

but i'm directly under the south..
you can call it tornado, as it looked just like in the movies the moment a tornado comes down/grows up (wich way?! :D). we definitely NEVER had a storm like this in the lifetime of about anyone i know around here. it was strange beeing in the middle of a storm and not having _ANY_ form of wind blowing while the surrounding couldn't stand the storm..
it was the closest form of a tornado that ever hit the north-switzerland and south-german region in the last years, definitely

I love that when you can feel the electricity in the air. Everything seems on the verge of something gigantic. Its the same feeling I get when standing on top of a mountain.

or pointing with a gun directly onto your head..
.. electrifying .... :D

Hmm, never tried that. Tornadoes we are taught to protect ourselves from, guns are another thing quite entirely.
