Maybe we should have a "DevMaster Member Quotes" section where if someone writes something smart/funny/interesting/useful/etc , it can be added in. Random quotes can be displayed on the front page or the top of the forums or something. Only requirement would be that it has to be something said and written on these boards. A link can be given to the topic and thread as well. It can probably be automatized like that "report" button that complains about a post to the moderators. There can be a "Quotable Post" button that would take the user to an edit page where the user can edit out the sections of the post that are not quotable and send it to the mods who can approve/diapprove it...
I got this idea after reading the following from Nick:
You might think this is important, but frankly I'm sure it's not. Maybe calculating bounding boxes takes at most 1% of execution time. Even if you can make it twice as fast, then you've optimized your application by 0.5%. In the time you've spend optimizing this, processors have appeared that are 5% faster.
