DirectMusic Segment pausing

Hi,

I'm having a problem thats driving me mad. Could anyone tell me if they have sucessfully paused Direct music segments. The segments are loaded from wav files.

I've been playing around with the example function given by microsoft:

but have had no joy.

I can restart the segment playing from the start of the wav file but never from where I stopped it playing?

Havent used direct music in quite a while so Im a bit rusty, but what are you doing to pause? IIRC you have to get the current MUSIC_TIME from the perfromance object and then set that time as the starting position in the segment you want to pause (after you stop the segment of course). Then the next time you play the segment it starts from wherever it was...
