I'm going to make an FPS in Reality Factory, but I don't know how to get started. I have several questions, and no answers to go with them.

1)Where can I get models (like weapons, characters, and enemies)?

2)Does Reality Factory support more than one selectable player character?

3)Does Reality Factory support simple cutscenes?

Also, if anyone would like to help, please email or PM me.

1.) polycount is a great place, but not as good as making them yourself.
2.) Yes. There is almost certanly some way to code it using the decoumentation.
3.) Yes, simple make a .avi file for the cutscene. If you want it rendered in engine, you will need camera scripts and mulitple triggers and movements. It shouldn't be that hard.

Ultimate Game Programming (http://ultimategameprogramming.com) has a couple of tutorials for cutscenes, but you need to buy the $20 CD (pretty good deal, and quite useful). But, I'm not sure if what's on it would directly apply to a specific engine (Reality Factory in this case).

Honestly I would make the models myself, because when you complete the game, there is nothing more rewarding then knowing that you didn't piggy-back off someone else's hard work.

if you don't know modeling at all or even don't have a modeling program (such as 3DS MAX, LightWave, Maya, Milkshape, etc) you won't be able to make the models yourself... perhaps you could ask one of your friends to do this.

Don't be expecting to come out with the next quake. Reality Factory is a good tool to learn some basics but you should also consider using blender or milkshape. Also consider getting a book on the subject see http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1584503637/qid=1128991136/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/103-0071854-5255856?v=glance&s=books&n=507846.
