Georgia Women Pleads Not Guilty to Molestation

A 37-year-old woman who married her son's 15-year-old friend pleaded not guilty Friday to charges of statutory rape, child molestation and enticing a minor.

What I don't get is that if she is protected from the charges because they were married, and they could only get married because she was pregnant, how did she legally become pregnant in the first place? (Im assuming that the law about marriage at 15 only applies if its actually your kid the woman is pregnant with).
