Media library

Hi ^_^,

I'm looking for a library/ies to reproduce a wide kind of media whit a great performance. Something like DirectShow, but cross-platform operating system. The final goal is to reproduce media through OpenGL.

A friend, recomend me a FFMPEG library, http://ffmpeg.sourceforge.net/index.php, but no files are avaiable to download :wacko:.
