Project Nebula is an objective driven - class based - FPS space shooter that takes place in a huge open space setting and large planetary environments (http://www.projectnebula.com/)
At the moment these are royalty based contracts although we haven't ruled out the possiblity of being hired by a publisher.
Lead Programmer
Responsibilities :
Leading and managing software developers
Mentoring and developing staff
Designing and scheduling of programming tasks
Working with the art team for establishing productive work flow.
Qualifications :
Good written and verbal communication skills
2+ years industry experience
ability to work with artist , level designers etc ..
strong C++ programming skills
game design experience / understanding
Able to work well in a 'virtual office' environment
Ability to meet deadlines
Preferences :
Experience with the Torque and/or Nebula Device engines
Gameplay Programmer
Responsibilities :
Implement core gameplay mechanics
Qualifications :
Good written and verbal communication skills
1+ years industry experience
ability to work with artist , level designers etc ..
strong C++ programming skills
game design experience / understanding
Able to work well in a 'virtual office' environment
Ability to meet deadlines
Preferences :
Experience with the Torque and/or Nebula Device engines
Graphics Programmer
Responsibilities :
Implement next generation graphics into the engine
Qualifications :
Good written and verbal communication skills
1+ years industry experience
ability to work with artist , level designers etc ..
strong C++ programming skills
strong DirectX 9 programming skills
Able to work well in a 'virtual office' environment
Ability to meet deadlines
Preferences :
Experience with the Torque and/or Nebula Device engines
