Wonderful article describing several of the useful shadowing algorithms. Combined with other articles such as the ones over at nVIDIA, one should be able to decide upon which algorithm to sue and implement it without major problems.

In particular I enjoyed reading the shadow volume section which both mentions Carmack's approach and the use of Penumbra Wedges. :wink:

Is it just me or is Figure 1 missing?
