Default OpenAL Sources

Is it possible to query OpenAL sources to see if they are hardware accelerated or not?
Cheers

As far as I know, and according to the documentation, it is not possible to query each source as to its accelerated state.

In FMod, it is possible to specify per sample wether to ignore 3D acceleration (if acceleration is possible), though I am not sure if it is possible to then check the state (though it probably is, I havn't done this myself). I don't think the same is possible in OpenAL.

If you do need to do this, it might be worth sending a quick message to the OpenAL mailing lists, either asking for their advice on it, or asking if there are any plans to include something similar - though if you have a look on their 'Wish List', it might not be a high priority.
