Cornell Box

The Cornell Box is a simple physical environment which is often used to test ray tracing and radiosity techniques. It was first used at Cornell University in 1984 for visualization of heat transfer. It has since then been adopted into the sibling area of light transfer and become a very common 3D test environment.
