Should this "Project: Save the Newbies" stuff be on this page? It seems off-topic. Maybe it would be better to stick this stuff on the DmWiki:Community Portal or a talk page somewhere. Reedbeta 14:36, 9 Jul 2005 (CDT)
There was this text, and I didn't knew where to place it, so I'll leave it on this page. I know it shouldn't be here, but I think that it's an interesting discussion, it's better if we don't delete it:
"There is a project similar to this at GameDevFAQ (http://gamedevfaq.nfshost.com/) and The Game Programing Wiki (http://www.gpwiki.org/). Could these wikis be linked? I mean, while each one of them has unique content, I believe that having several wikis of thew same type is just bad for the comunity."

- well, I just emailed the guy at gpwiki and the email of someone on this page (the link Contact Us on the left). I don't know if it's possible to actually do that, but there's no reason not to try it... --Algumacoisaqq 07:53, 2 Sep 2005 (CDT)
- Oh well, just got a response from gpwiki. It said that they where pretty much aware of each other, but there was no intention to merge (of course, it was much more polited then I'm being). It also said that, right now, these projects are heading diferent directions, so they both have their distinct caracresistics, so it's not really an issue to be apart of each other.--Algumacoisaqq 11:45, 2 Sep 2005 (CDT)

- Oh... I see it now... indeed, maybe I rushed into other people's business. I tought you where kind of delegating me this task. I'm quite new over here and I don't use the forums (at the point, I had forgot that the primary comunity was at the forum, not at the wiki). Well, sorry. Anyway, if you want to see the emails, drop me an email at algumacoisaqq@yahoo.com.
