Field of view
From DmWiki
The field of view (FOV), also called angle of view, is the amount of scene visible through the camera. It is mostly expressed as an angle in degrees, measured horizontally. An FOV of 90° is default in most games, and allows to see objects at 45° to the left and right of the forward-looking direction. A FOV smaller than 90° creates a binocular effect, while a FOV greater than 90° shrinks the scene and distorts the edges. Most games allow to change the FOV in the console.
