OpenGL ARB

The OpenGL ARB (Architecture Review Board) is a group of people who discuss the future development of OpenGL, and decide on the standardisation of extensions and their inclusion into the core of OpenGL. It contains representatives from all major manufacturers of 3D hardware and operating systems, ensuring that OpenGL remains an up-to-date and powerful platform to work upon.

Altrough Microsoft was one of the founding members, they resigned from the ARB committee in March 2003.
